About Us

Brigadoon Elementary, located in Federal Way’s Twin Lakes neighborhood, serves scholars in grades PK-5. Our mission is to nurture and accelerate students’ social, emotional, and academic growth. We do this through a variety of strategies to promote critical thinking and engage students in ownership of their learning. Scholars benefit from an array of school activities and clubs to enhance their learning.  

With over 235 volunteers, Brigadoon staff and families work collaboratively to support our scholars’ academic, social, and emotional learning in academic core subjects and encourage participation in science fairs, Multicultural Night, Read Aloud Night, curriculum nights, and musical concerts. Community partnerships with area businesses help support the needs of our scholars. Parent leadership is a pillar of various Brigadoon building committees.
